I started listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers because of my dad’s music taste. Since I can remember, we’ve been fanatic about this band, and in some way, I believe that this band brings this family together.
There are infinite reasons why I like this band, but I believe that my favorite thing about RHCP are the lyrics to their songs, they feel like poetry.
As it may be, me, my father and my brother were anxiously waiting for the opportunity to go see them in person. This opportunity came in 2020, when it was announced that Red Hot Chili Peppers were going to play in the Rock in Rio Lisboa. However, due to covid-19 the festival was canceled, and so was the band’s concert. This changed when last year, it was announced their return in the festival NOS Alive, without question we bought the tickets immediately and patiently waited 4 hours on the floor in front of the stage for them.
This concert was one of the best experiences of my life, and I will immediately take the next chance I get to see them.
