Rescue

The RoboCupJunior Rescue is subdivided in three types of competitions explained below::

  • Line (12-19 years old)
  • Line Entry (up to 14 years old)
  • Maze (12-19 years old)
  • Maze Entry (up to 14 years old)
  • Simulation  (12-19 years old)

Simulation

In Rescue - Simulation, teams have to develop and program appropriate strategies for both real and virtual autonomous robots to navigate through the real and virtual worlds to collect objects while competing with another team’s robot that is searching and collecting objects in the same real and virtual worlds.

The Rescue Simulator is the only official platform for the sub-league. It can be downloaded at http://www.cospacerobot.org. This simulator allows programs to be developed using a graphical programming interface or C language. Please refer to CoSpace Rescue Simulator help or CoSpaceRobot.org for details. This competition qualifies the Portuguese teams for the RoboCupJunior Rescue - Line competition in RoboCup2019 to be held in Sydney , from July 2 to 8, 2019.

The version of CoSpace software that will be used during the competition is the 2019 version.
