Ricardo Baptista

Ricardo Baptista has a PhD in Digital Media—Creation of Audiovisuals and Interactive Content from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto since 2017. Before his doctorate, he was a research fellow in several national and European projects and an international fellow at IC2 and Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas, USA. In terms of teaching, he is a coordinating professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Maia-Porto in digital game development and digital production in brand communication. He is also a visiting assistant professor at various public universities, such as the University of Porto and Universidade Aberta, in web development, programming, databases and geographic information systems. He is an affiliate/integrated researcher at the INESC TEC/ Universidade Aberta research laboratory in the Humanise Center in Computer Graphics and Virtual Environments.
