Since the last few decades, space awareness is becoming more relevant with the growth of space usage. SMART aims to detect and locate objects in low Earth orbit and entering the atmosphere, utilizing VHF signals and signal reflection for orbit tracing and meteor detection.
The data collected will be stored on an onboard computer and, after analysis and processing of our data, we hope to obtain information on satellites orbit and meteors entry location as well as apparent size from the carried energy.
