POST, the new solution proposed in this paper, uses an enhanced BST infrastructure, fully IEEE 1149.1 compatible, to enable a restricted on-line detection of pre-defined circuit conditions and response capturing, opening the way to real-time monitoring in Fault-Tolerant applications. The ability of the proposed solution to inject correct output responses is also explored as an added-value feature in this application domain.
