An enhanced BST infrastructure, fully IEEE 1149.1 std compatible, enables on-line detection of pre-defined circuit conditions, opening the way to real-time monitoring in Fault-Tolerant designs. A restricted Fault Tolerance capability is also possible, through the ability of the proposed solution to inject a set of corrected output values.
