Workshop Details | |
The workshop is divided into theoretical (30 min) and practical (1h) parts. The theory will delve into the concept and usefulness of surrogate models as a way to replace expensive simulation software, with an overview of the most used approaches in PSE. In the second part, the student will implement some basic models, assess trade-offs and metrics that allow comparison and choice between alternative surrogate methods. |
