Bio

Dr. Daniel G. Costa is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC), Faculty of Engineering (FEUP), University of Porto (Portugal). He completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering in 2005 and received his Ph.D. degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering in 2013 from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Natal, Brazil) in collaboration with the University of Porto. From 2007 to 2022, he served as an assistant professor at the State University of Feira de Santana (Brazil). Dr. Costa has authored or co-authored over 100 scientific papers published in prestigious international journals and conferences. His research interests cover a wide range of cutting-edge areas, including Smart Cities, Internet of Things, Sensor Networks, Embedded Systems, and Multimedia Sensing.
