PHD Forum - Call for Submissions (PDF)

Deadline: December 15th, 2023

The main purpose of the HiPEAC Workshop on Reconfigurable Computing is to provide a forum for researchers active in domains within the reconfigurable computing area to discuss the latest developments. Its main focus is on reconfigurable architectures, tools, and algorithms that facilitate reconfigurable systems and applications tailored for reconfigurable platforms. The WRC’2023 forum intends to provide a substantially different event from the well-known conferences and workshops related to reconfigurable computing by focusing on an informal way to discuss challenges, new fresh ideas, new and future trends, work in progress, etc.

The PhD forum aims to create an enriched environment for PhD Students to present and discuss their work in progress with the audience in general, but mainly with senior researchers, as the WRC is based on talks by invitation that brings together distinguished researchers from several established research groups.

PhD Forum authors are invited to submit 2-page papers using a double-column IEEE conference proceedings format.

A PDF file for the paper needs to be sent to the e-mail vbonato@usp.br by December 15th, 2023 including in the e-mail subject "Paper for PHD Forum - HiPEAC: WRC'2023".

It is expected for the paper to include the motivation and definition of the problem, objectives, the addressed solutions, current results and challenges, and future directions. Please note that there is no formal publication, but we encourage the participants to share their presentations to be included in the WRC Website. Accepted papers will have an oral presentation in the workshop.
