		That's where the Bond madness began. Bond movies brought something new to cinema, a mixture of reality and dream. While your watching it, your mind is travelling all around the world. I think that's why James Bond became so popular. At the begining of the movie we can hear the first "Bond, James Bond" ever said by Comander Bond. Few minutes latter, James Bond changes his ten years old Beretta by a new Walther PPK. And don't forget James Bond favorite drink:"Vodka Marti ni shaken not stirred". Finally meet SPECTRE, special executive for contre intelligence, terrorisme, revange and extortion.

		This one is a little bit diferent from Dr. No. Although the story seems better, the movie move very slow. Another thing, there is no magic secret place like Krab Key in Dr. No. Let's say that it is much more closer to reality. One important moment is the first appearance of Mister Q, interpreted by Desmond Llewelyn, who still playing the same caracter in the next Bond movie (#18). Sylvia Trench (Eunice Gayson), the first woman kissed by James Bond in Dr. No, came back to receive another one. By the way, I´ve never seen in my all life any woman as ugly as Rosa Klebb! What do you think, is she real?

		I really like this one. It´s full of magic secret places. Bond movie #3 made a big step into modern movies. For the first time James Bond receive a car with gadgets. It's an Aston Martin DB5 that comes to replace a Bentley. No I've never saw it neither. Just one thing, I prefer Jack Lord to perform Felix Leiter. For the first time Q's laboratorie have been shawn. Q start in this movie to be a really important caracter. Remember that James Bond received the Walther PPK from the 'prototype' of Q. Beautifull girls, magnificent sights, what else do we need to spend two hours. Ok, it's a man point of view, but what can I do, that's what I am!

		This is a nice one too. The sights are really fantastic. This time SPECTRE returns after being replaced by Goldfinger in Bond movie #3. Ernst Starvo Blofeld (his bottom half)came back and his cat to. Seems hard to find an actor capable to suite this caracter. Felix Leiter is performed by Rik Van Nutter who perfectly match with what I expect to be a CIA agent. James Bond refers to a King when in 1965 it was a Queen! And this time James Bond drinks a D. Perignon 55, strange I thought he prefered de 53. Largo was right, in the Casino, when he said "You seem to be unbeattable Mr Bond".

		It was about time to Ernst Stavro Blofeld show up! It meens that SPECTRE strikes again but this time it's number 1 who's taking comands. It's a first time too for space apearance, that's where the problems start. This time you can learn that "sake" is good if drunk at a temperature of 98.4ºF. But James Bond stills like a "Vodka Martini shaken not stirred", and not "stirred not shaken" like Henderson offered him. By the way, Henderson, performed by Charles Gray (Remember his name), get killed 45 seconds after this mistake. Is this a malediction? All I know it's that's a very nice movie too.

		Welcome George Lazenby. Is he a good James Bond? It's difficult to say. Personaly I think that his face doesn't match with the caracter, he's not charming enough. The story doesn't help him too much. I don't think that a love story fit in a Bond movie, fortunatly it's just a little part and the rest is very exciting. Blofeld comes back but quite diferent from what we're used to see. This time he doesn't seem so exclusive. Although Telly Savalas made a great performance, I don't think that he's the right Blofeld. Blofeld should not smile, just like Donald Pleasence did. Goodbye George Lazenby.

		Sean Connery came back to make is last Bond movie. The nine years that past since Dr. No are visible in Sean Connery's face, but I still like his style. This Bond movie is diferent from all the others, it explores a comical side. For a first time it's not perfect but it's not bad either. Blofeld is now performed by Charles gray, who already performed Henderson in 'You only live twice', and his far away from the original and misterious Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Great moments, one from Blofeld: "Good evening Mr Bond"; and my favorite one, from Tiffany Case: "James, how the hell do we get those diamonds down again"

		Almost everything had change. Where's Q? James Bond drinks Bourbon and Bollinger. Where are the Martini and the D. Perignon? For the first time James Bond home has been shown. But the most significant thing is when, at the beginning, we see, through the gun barrel, James Bond walking, but without his hat. Like in Sean Connery's first movie, the action is mostly in Jamaica, and James Bond get help from Quarrel, Quarrel junior. There's a lot of boat action, that makes one of the best moments of all the Bond movies. Kananga seems a little bad guy near Goldfinger and Blofeld. Finaly, I like Roger Moore.

		Although Scaramanga is not dangerous for the entire world, this Bond movie is one of my favorites. The spiral jump with the AMC Astro is fantastic. The car/plane is really nice too (I saw it last year in Paris). Bond tasted a Phuyuck 74 (remember that the movie was made in 74), a wine from Thailand. But for me, the most funny thing is when James Bond try to speek in portuguese to Goodnight. The funny thing is that he is really bad, I know that cause I'm portuguese. One of the Bond girl, Andrea, was performed by Maud Adams, and like I already said before: Remember that name.

		Very good Bond movie. After reconcileation with D. Perignon in last Bond movie, this time he reconcileate with the Vodka-Martini. The way the cargo Liparus swalow the submarines reminds me the space ship in 'You only live twice'. General Gogol is performed by Walter Gottel, who were Morzeny, a SPECTRE member, in 'From Russia with love'. An other coincidence with 'From Russia with love' is that Q is called By his name, Major Boothroyd. The Lotus Esprit is my favorite Bond car (including the rented and the stolen). It's normal cause when I met James Bond (I was born in 72) I also met that fabulous white car.

		Drax's projects are quite the same from those of Stromberg in the previous movie, the only diference is that the civilization lives the sea to space. Jaws came back and, at the, end turns himself into a good guy. Drax's projects include the sterility of all the human being, what remembers us Blofeld's projects, in 'On her Majesty's secret sevice', of sterility of all the non human being. For the first time, James Bond went to space and I liked it. It's not perfect but it's always interesting to see diferent things. The best moment: in Venice with the boats. It seems that Roger Moore became a master in boat action.

		Blofeld came back to desappear few minutes later. It was the first time that Roger Moore saw Blofeld. A reference were made to Teresa Bond (Tracy), his wife in 'On her Majesty's secret service'. Also like in 'On her Majesty's secret service', a great part of the action were made in the Alps with great sking moments. And talking about of great moments, Remy Julienne made an impressive job with the 2CV. For the first time, M missed a Bond movie. His place is taken by the Minister of defence, performed by Geoffrey Keen. General Gogol is here too, and Walter Gottel stills perform the caracter.

		At the beginning we can see a fantastic (micro) plane action scene. For 'Octopussy' M returns but it's Robert Brown who performs the caracter. Till now, the only person who participates in all the Bond movies is Lois Maxwell, Miss Moneypenny. She's 21 years older than in 'Dr No' but I still think that she's perfect. Remy julienne made, one more time, a fantastic scene, this time in India with the motorcicle taxi. Another thing, the pursuit with the stollen Alfa Romeo GTV is very nice. Finaly, it's easy to see that Maud Adams is nine years older that in 'The man with the golden gun'.

		The unoficial Bond movie. The fact that the gun barrel, and the Bond theme are missing is enough to make this movie not as good as the others. But it's not the only thing, Felix Leiter comes with a diferent skeen color, I have nothing against black people but a white guy becoming black doesn't happen every day, they could give him another name. Blofeld and M are terrible, Q is not better. Compared with Thunderball every caracter is worst, except Largo who is the better thing in the movie. Changing Blofeld, M, Q, Moneypenny, and adding the gun barrel and the Bond theme is enough to make it a good Bond movie.

		My first Bond movie. I love it. It's a very important one cause it's the last one for Roger Moore, and the last one too for Lois Maxwell who's acting since the beginning of the Bond movies (23 years). To celebrate, Patrick Macnee joined the team (16 years after Diana Rigg his team mate in 'The Avengers'), and James Bond received the Order of Lenine from General Gogol (still being performed by Walter Gottel). Max Zorin is perfect, and his plans are like those of Goldfinger: having the monopoly of gold (Goldfinger) and microchips (Zorin). Best moment: when James Bond destroy the Renault 11 in Paris.

		New James Bond, new style. Timothy is the most serious one. I like him although I prefer Sean Connery and Roger Moore. With him, a new Miss Moneypenny, but I didn't liked her, she seems to silly. General Gogol is here again, and Walter Gottel is one more time perfect, but now he's Minister and let his place to General Pushkin (John Rhys-Davies). Felix Leiter came back but he's much lesser important that he used to be, and the actor is not good enough. Another name to remember (we're getting used to it), Joe Don Baker performs Brad Whitaker a weapon dealer.

		Another goodbye is made. With Timothy Dalton goes Robert Brown and Caroline Bliss, who didn't had the chance to replace in our hearts the fabulous Lois Maxwell. It seems that Bond movies with special names are the last one to its james Bond. In fact, James Bond works 'On her Majesty's secret service' and his job include the'Licence to Kill', and they ended George Lazenby's an Timothy Dalton's career. Both are good (at least part of them) but they are the only ones in all the serie to includ sentiments. Is this a malediction? Pedro Armendariz Jr, President Lopez, came 26 years after his father in 'FRWL' (Kerim Bey).

		I'm not convinced by Pierce Brosnan, he's not relaxed, acts like a ninja and not like James Bond. But he's not bad compared with the new M. I hated her, the problem is not that she's a woman, but it's that nobody should doubt of 007 capability and she's abusing of her authority. The same thaught for Moneypenny. The MI6 office looks like a space ship. Where is the spirit? And the new BMW Z3! As far as I remember 007 is british. Anyway, the story is interesting altough it hasn't been explored as it sould be. The only thing that's very good is Xenia Onatopp. She's perfect.

		I'm sad, because this movie did not recover the Bond spirit lost in Goldeneye. Although they tried, using many ideas of "The Spy Who Loved Me", they are far away of what a Bond movie should be. This movie moves to fast, I repeat that James Bond is a secret agent not a ninja. And forget those machine gun, let it to Bruce Willis, he use it much better. I don't know, but for me a secret agent must move very smooth and quit if he want to remain secret. Now let's talk about what is good. Carver's boat is fantastic, the best thing of the entire film. Judi Dench and Samantha Bond are better now.

		Finaly Pierce Brosnan Made a Bond Movie that deserves to be seen. He do not try as much as he did in the previous two movies to be funny, and the result is there: A fantastic movie that will certainly become a Bond classic. It's also the last Bond Movie for Desmond Llewely who died in December 1999. The last link from old Bond movies is gone, let's hope the spirit will remain. So long Q ...

		Pierce Brosnan is getting better each time and Lee Tamahori directed it the best way to pay a tribute to the past 40 years of the franchise. Many parts remembers others bond movies, as well as the filming style. Probably one of the best bond movies.
