Integrated Master in Informatics and Computing Engineering

I am the founder and the responsible of a technological company called AiTech Studio, we provide all kinds of webdesign and software development services, create e-commerce solutions for the Chinese community in Portugal. I am also the co-founder of a non-profit association called AJLC – Luso-Chinese Youth Association, where we organize events and activities to raise funds and donate to charity as well as we promote the integration of immigrant communities in the Portuguese community.

When I came to Portugal I knew nothing about the country, I did not speak the language and I thought it was going to be impossible to integrate myself here. I was wrong. Thanks to all the support that FEUP provided me I became what I am today. FEUP has very good infrastructures and equipment conditions, the quality of teaching is excellent, teachers and colleagues are very nice and it has all the necessary resources to achieve my goals. FEUP is the best Faculty of Engineering at national level and one of the best in Europe.

I had the opportunity to make an Erasmus exchange in my last year of master’s degree at Cranfield University, UK and I finished my study programme there. I worked at a financial software company in London for a year and then I returned to Portugal to start my own company.

The experience of studying, working and living abroad has been excellent because the new culture and the different ways of thinking have widened my horizon. I advise all candidates to take the opportunity to exchange at FEUP, it will be a unique experience of life.
