Béatrice Satiat-Jeunemaitre
Béatrice Satiat-Jeunemaitre is a CNRS research director . Her research activity focus on the functional organization of the plant endomembrane, using various bio-imaging approaches. She is especially interested in the ability of the endoplasmic reticulum to contribute to the morphogenesis of constitutive compartments (the Golgi apparatus) or de novo compartments (autophagosome) . She started her scientific career at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Paris) before a long stay in Oxford University. She has then be a group leader at the Institut des Sciences du Végétal at Gif sur Yvette (Dir. H. Barbier-Brygoo) for the last 15 years and integrate the future Institute for Integrative Biology of the Cell (I2BC) in 2015. She is also managing the core facility "Imaging and Cell Biology Pole" of the Gif campus , part of France-BioImaging Infrastructure.
