Practical work #11 :: Week of 09/12/2019

Prerequisites

To do the practical work, the student should prepare himself beforehand:

Tasks

  1. Get the assignment of the week at Test
  2. Start answering the exercises of the week assignment using Spyder3
  3. Test your solutions to the exercises using Test
  4. At the deadline, when the time expires, you are NOT allowed to make any more changes on your answers
  5. Test will submit later, in Moodle, a zip with your checked answers and you can check your grade in the gradebook
  6. Follow the ongoing projects

Materials

Summary

  • Write Python3 code using the Divide and Conquer algorithmic paradigm. Solving a problem using the three steps: break the given problem into sub-problems of same type, recursively solve these sub-problems, combine the answers. Binary search. Quicksort. Merge Sort.
