The present report documents the traineeship that took place in Infopulse Electronic Commerce B.V. in the scope of Curricular Traineeship subject of the Licenciatura em Engenharia Informática e Computação da Faculdade of the Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
The work carried out was an effort of helping the process of adoption of new technologies by the team in which the trainee was inserted. A big dimension and complex application was analysed tier by tier (presentation, business and data) so new ways of evolve could be found.
Beside that, support tools to that same application were developed and improved, and other ways of growing were explored: improving functionalities and solving problems.
Special attention was given to the new .NET platform and the new opportunities that with it emerge. New opportunities for the application, but also new opportunities to the team that can find new ways to work: more productive and more motivating.
