Paper Submission Instructions
This section provides prospective authors with useful information and guidelines to prepare and submit their contributions to ITSC 2016.
Besides regular papers for the main conference program, you may also be interested in consulting the list of available Special Sessions and Workshops. Submission of Special Session and Workshop papers should include the respective session code.
Submitting Papers
ITSC 2016 uses the PaperPlaza System (http://its.papercept.net) to manage submissions, the reviewing process and registration of attendees. Detailed instructions on how to access the system, sign in for a new account, log in for submissions are available here. If you are ready to submit your manuscript, please follow the link below:
Preparing Manuscripts for Submission
All ITSC 2016 manuscripts should be written in English and follow the double-column style of the IEEE format. Instructions and templates (LaTeX or Word) are downloadable from the PaperPlaza’s Support page, under options “LaTeX Support” and “MS-Word Support.”
As for length of manuscripts, please take into consideration that camera-ready papers (for accepted papers) are expected to be six-page long, but authors may submit manuscripts up to eight pages in length; however, note that papers exceeding six pages in length will be charged an additional fee per extra page.
Reviewing Process
Submitted papers will be evaluated according to high standards of quality, technical and scientific contributions inherent to IEEE ITS Conferences. Criteria such as originality, significance, contributions, soundness, organization and clarity will be considered throughout the reviewing process. All papers must be written in English and submitted electronically in PDF format via PaperPlaza. Papers submitted to ITSC 2016 undergo a peer-review process managed by the Conference’s International Program Committee, and will be reviewed by at three reviewers who will give detailed comments and suggestions for improvements. Authors of accepted papers must submit a revised camera-ready version of their manuscript, carefully taking into consideration reviewers’ feedback.
Publication and Indexing
Accepted papers will be included in the ITSC 2016 Conference Proceedings, to be published by IEEE, provided respective registration fees are received by camera-ready due deadline and at least one of the co-authors attend the conference and present the paper personally. No-show policy will apply and papers whose authors fail to deliver presentation will not be included in the proceedings.
Papers included in the proceedings of IEEE ITS Conferences are published by IEEE and made available on IEEE Xplore Digital Library. IEEE ITSC Proceedings are indexed by major systems, such as Scopus, Thomson Reuters’ ISI WoS, and Engineering Village.
Plagiarism and Ethical Issues
Content of any submissions should be original and must not be submitted for consideration in any other conferences or journals during review. Submissions will be checked against (self-)plagiarism using tools provided by IEEE. Possible violations will be reported to IEEE for further investigation and appropriate procedures.
