Papers accepted for inclusion in the Formal Proceedings

Find below the instructions to prepare and submit your camera-ready manuscript. If support is sought, please contact Publication Chair.

Final paper preparation

  • Maximum length – 6 pages.
  • Format – PDF, single-spaced, double-column, A4 format (11.69×8.27in), employing the IEEE manuscript templates for conference proceedings.
  • Do not include page numbers in your paper or any other headers or footers, except for the IEEE copyright notice as described below.
  • The file PDF must be checked for IEEE compatibility via IEEE PDF Express tool, as detailed below.
  • The deadline for camera ready and copyright form upload is September 6th, 2021.

Copyright

Add the copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document.

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-2116-4/21/$31.00 ©2021 Crown
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-2116-4/21/$31.00©2021 European Union
  • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-2116-4/21/$31.00 ©2021 IEEE

Instructions to check if your PDF is IEEE compliant

  • Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress TM site
  • First-time users should do the following:
    1. Select the New Users – Click Here link.
    2. Enter the following:
      • 53048X for the Conference ID
      • your email address
      • a password
    3. Continue to enter information as prompted. An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
  • Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps as well, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

Once the paper has been checked (you will be notified by an email if your file passed or failed), please log in to EasyChair for DCIS 2021 using the proceedings author (IEEE Proceedings) role and submit the final version of your manuscript before September, 6th 2021.

Make sure that you sign the copyright agreement. You will find a link to the copyright application in Easychair.

Submissions accepted for poster presentation

Authors of submissions accepted for poster presentation must bring a printed poster (there will be no poster printing failities on-site). The poster should be prepared on A1 size (no larger than 60 cm high and 90 cm wide), and landscape oriented (template here). Poster boards will be provided for display.

Poster Design

Materials, including the title, should not extend beyond the poster size. Design your poster so that it is easy to read and include some visuals. Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors’ names and affiliations. Remember the audience may have a short time frame to read your poster.

Short paper for accepted posters

Authors of poster presentations should also submit a short paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Please use the following guidelines for preparing your paper:

  • Maximum length – 2 pages.
  • Format – PDF, single-spaced, double-column, A4 format (11.69×8.27in), employing the IEEE manuscript templates for conference proceedings.
  • Do not include page numbers or any other headers or footers.
  • The deadline for camera ready upload is September 6th, 2021.
