Hotel Santana
The Santana Hotel & Spa is located on a hill overlooking the left bank of the Ave River, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view over the river, the Santa Clara Convent, and the southeast side of the city of Vila do Conde. The hotel has a contemporary architectural style, harmoniously combined with traditional elements that reflect the culture of the surrounding spaces.
The city center is located at just 1.5 km away from the hotel. There one can find shopping facilities, bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The Atlantic coast and the river mouth is 2 km west of the hotel.
“Terraços do Ave” Room
This will be the main room where the DCIS conference will take place. This room has a capacity for 300 people seated and has a magnificent view over the Ave River and the Santa Clara Convent.
“José Régio” Conference Room
This conference room has a capacity for 120 people in the audience, which can be divided into 3 rooms for small meetings. It also has a bar and a terrace for coffee-breaks, welcome-drinks, etc.
The hotel rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, internet connection and sound system, in addition to audiovisual material, at all times available at the Hotel. At the Hotel there are several lounge areas, a reading room, a games room, a Spa, specially decorated to provide you with comfort and well-being, in addition to the various terraces/solariums, with outdoor loungers.
