Product Designer and Designer Activist. Lígia Lopes has been a professor since 2002 and an assistant professor for the Master Degree in Industrial and Product Design at the University of Porto (FBAUP + FEUP). She is also a professor of design at the University of Minho and formerly has been an assistant professor for the Design Degree at DeCA – University of Aveiro. She has a degree in Industrial Design, and a Post Graduate degree in Product Design, in addition Lígia Lopes holds a PhD in Design from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon. She is a co-founder of the “Design Includes You” association and a member of the Contramão Association. Areas of interest: inclusive design, participatory methodologies, co-design, social inclusion, social design and activism in/for design.
Co-founder and CEO of Questtonó, an Innovation and Design Consultancy based in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and New York. He is a graduate in design from the University Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in São Paulo. Levi works with a trans-disciplinary team in the fields of transport, electronics, the healthcare sector, consumer goods as well as cosmetics and beverages on the development of innovative design projects. He has received more than 130 Brazilian and International design awards and has acted as a judge in different design competitions.

Bárbara Rangel graduated in Architecture in 1996, and holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Porto. She collaborated with Rafael Moneo in 1995, and with Álvaro Siza between 1996 and 2001. She is a partner at ABprojectos, an architecture and civil engineering firm. Editor of International Scientific Journal Cadernos d’Obra since 2009, she also teaches and researches in Civil Engineering and Industrial Design at FEUP.
Jorge Lino is Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto, and Researcher of INEGI – Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. In addition professor Lino is also Adjunct Director of the Master Program in Product and Industrial Design, belongs to the Scientific Commission of the Master Program in Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship (MIETE), is the Director of DESIGNSTUDIO FEUP as well as Vice-President of the Portuguese Society of Materials (SPM).
